This bag has some good design ideas, and some poor travel ones. I love the idea of access to the gear and bag open area (sandwiched between the two zippered compartments). It''''s a perfect place for cell phone and keys. But the Velcro does NOT hold the open compartment closed. And because travel the handle is attached to the back wall of the bag, gear the weight of the contents make the bag lop-sided when you hold it by the handle. bag The bag slips onto the shoulders very easily, and the bag rides very comfortably on your back. Someday these travel bag designers are going to remember to attach the handles gear at the center of the bag, but as bag the size of the bag is perfect, I''''ve got my local cobbler designing travel a fix for the Velcro problem. And I''''ll live with the weight and balance problem, because obviously, most of the time the bag is either on my back or on my shoulder.

This is gear my second Fl-air III bag and I love both of them, my bag 25" and the rolling carry-on. I travel now am prepared for both a long and short trip. I particularly like the toiletries hanging bag in each.

I have had four other briefcases before this and this is the best because it is light and not too bulky, but it can expand alot gear when you stuff it. I took bag it on a trip to spain with the matching 22 inch travel upright carry-on suitcase (see my other testimonial on that one), and it works great with that. You can put the handle up through the flap on the gear back and carry bag them together, or you can strap it on the back of the suitcase (I prefer the latter, it balances the load perfectly and it is easier to take travel off everytime you go through security). The strap is comfortable gear and the bag lays nice and flat when it only has my computer in it. Looks great too bag.
