Hot! JanSport''''s number 1 selling pack. Great color selections! I bought this bag for my daughter for her first year of high school. We were actually looking for a red bag and settled for the pink when travelon we could not find that color (after I ordered this bag, we luggage saw a red one in a mall in a different city). The bag has been a good one, the only problem my daughter had with the bag is after a short while, the pink began to discolor and although in every other way, the bag was good, it did not look good. It looked old very fast. Anyway, thanks for your concern. As far as bags go, JanSport is all we buy and think it is a great product. Think Pink! JanSport''''s hottest bag of 2001/2002 is the pink Velocity, as travelon worn by the singer Pink. Her latest ablum M!SSUNDAZTOOD is on the charts and the pack is as hot as ever! My daughter will luggage use the Velocity bag from Jan Sport for school. She start next week, but has had all her travelon school supplies packed in it for several weeks. She can''''t wait to use it! It will be big enough to last her for several years. JanSport. Eastpak.

Although the bag is highly luggage rated for the four items above, the most significant drawback is the weakness of travelon the handle and roller system. The bag is very large and can hold alot of items. Because the construction of the sides is fabric material, weight distribution causes problems with luggage the effectiveness of the roller. The bag easily gets off balance and twists and turns while rolling. This bag has worked out well. Since it is just a huge open duffel type bag, you can fill it to it''''s capacity with just about anything, and it holds quite a lot. The only poor aspect of the construction is that there is no skeletal support of any kind, so the bag is limp and collapsed until you fill it up. I''''m extremely happy with this bag. I have a smaller piece in the same series, so I knew its construction would be sturdy. It has a great look, holds vast amounts of clothing and gear (even travelon my oversized diving fins), and I''''m confident that it''''s not going to fall apart when being thrown around. I would definitely recommend this piece.

This bag has some good design ideas, and some poor ones. I love the idea of access to the open area (sandwiched between the two zippered compartments). It''''s a luggage perfect place for cell phone and keys. But the Velcro does NOT hold the open compartment closed. And because the handle is attached to the back wall of the bag, the weight of the contents make the bag lop-sided when you hold it by the handle. The bag slips onto the shoulders very easily, and the bag rides very comfortably on your back. Someday these bag designers are going to remember to attach the handles at the center of the bag, but as the size of the bag is perfect, I''''ve got my local cobbler designing a fix for the Velcro problem. And I''''ll live with the weight and balance problem, because obviously, most of the time the bag is either on my back or on my shoulder.
